Greetings!
I have more progress to show on the Legio Ignatum Reaver Battle Titan today. The details are all painted in now, and lots more shading has been applied. The body and legs are now permanently attached as well.
Let's walk around her a bit and have a look. I think this will be the primary armament for this titan, but until I play some games I can't really say. I envision this titan as a close-in scrapper, supported by a couple Warhound titans or a pack of knights.
The second Reaver in the maniple will be more of a stand-off fire platform. Since this force includes a Warbringer, they could afford a Reaver to get stuck in, I figured. This approach also sets this force up to fight differently than my existing Legio Tempestus force.
Decals go on next. Then the base gets painted so I can mount the model permanently. Currently, it is just standing on the base under it's own balance. I also need to highlight the armor trim and probably some other bits here and there.
I have some details left to do from the rear, as well. Cogs on weapons should get some color and the hoses, etc. Little stuff, and largely optional, but I can definitely take this paint job up a notch or two.
I have another painting session planned this week, so we'll see what I can accomplish. I likely won't finish before next week, but it's getting VERY close.
Stay safe(ly distanced) out there.
Cheers and Happy Gaming!
Looking fantastic mate. I think I have said it before, but Reavers are my favourites. I would love to pick up the game just to get my hands on some.
ReplyDeleteThanks! The Reaver is a fine Titan for sure.
