WIP: Legio Ignatum Warbringer Battle Titan for Adeptus Titanicus - Part 3
More progress on the Nemesis Warbringer titan for Adeptus Titanicus. The model is fully assembled now and I was able to get some work on the base before pinning the model down to it with 5min 2-part epoxy. The gold trim has been highlighted with Vallejo Old Gold, and Vallejo Silver. The silver is applied just at the highest, brightest points and edges. Then came the decals. I might have gone a bit overboard, but I enjoy decals very much.
Some kill markings for the volcano cannon and a small hex wasp head for the rear of the shoulder armor. I've had great luck with these GW decals/transfers. They're pretty tough and slide of the paper easily and with a minimum of soaking, I find. Of course, Micro Sol and MicroSet are the star players when working with decals. I have a pair of bottle from the 90's that still work great.
I got a little waspy on the laser blasters. Fire Wasps from all angles! Well, except the rear, and one should never show the rear of their titan to the enemy!
I had a request for a picture with something else in it for scale. Here is a 40K Primaris Dark Angels marine standing at the foot of the Warbringer. Even at 8mm they are big machines! Glory to the Omnissiah for his great gifts. I hope this series of posts inspires you to get your own titans painted for the battlefield.
That's it for this week. The titan's base will get some weathering powders next to accentuate the martian dust and to match the rest of my titans. Then a last pass at cleaning up any mistakes and a bit more highlighting here and there where the model needs it most. I expect a final post next week will wrap up this project and clear the way for something new. maybe Heresy era Dark Angels next? I need to get my force ready for a parade review before their Primarch, once he finally gets released.
Stay safe out there.
Cheers and Happy Gaming!

These are simply awesome! I mentioned that several times but I would love to see them in the battle :) Thanks a lot for being a constant inspiration!
